Philosophy Preserving the emotions of the moments … for a lifetime Weddings are the commitment of best friends to come together and become "family" for a lifetime. Weddings are among the most important events in people’s lives, and every wedding is unique. What makes them unique is more than the place of the event; it is the people’s unique interactions and emotions at that time in that place. … the sad joys of the end of a phase, new beginnings and commitments. Weddings are the interactions with families and friends wrapped in the intense emotions of anticipation, excitement, jubilation and celebration. As photographers we want to record not only the facts but also preserve a window inside to those interactions and emotions between and within people. People’s memories become fuzzy over time. Their photographs provide the triggers to recall the emotions with crispness. Recalling these memories together helps couples to renew those commitments they made to each other on that special day. For us wedding photography is more than a business. When you commission us to record your wedding, we feel it is a way for us to touch couple’s lives for a lifetime.... We took our first wedding photographs over 20 years ago. Yet each wedding is still a unique and exciting celebration for us! Style Photojournalism Our dominant style of wedding photography is photojournalism. We want to record the events as they happen. However, we know that every Bride and Groom have their “must have” set of formal traditional portraits! We will work with you to shoot “posed candid” photographs. Except for taking the posed pictures you want, we would like to "disappear" and preserve the event as it happens! Our photographic medium is digital. Prints can be in color and/or Black & White. We use a variety artistic enhancements to fully express the emotions of the moment.
